“I grew up always being taller and bigger than the girls around me, which often makes me feel like a giant among others. Being fat is a little strange sometimes because there is this injunction to be feminine in order to be an acceptable “fatty”, but at the same time we keep on trying and always stand out like a sore thumb. We are never “enough”. Society is very difficult with fat girls’ clothing style, there are high ecxpectations of us. I decided to no longer try to stick to an image. I am neither feminine nor masculine. I compose with the clothe I like and colors that make me happy. It’s hard enough to find clothes in our size, so society should let us be in the world as we please. "
