Hi, I’m Emma!

I’m a French-Dutch photographer raised between these two cultures, with a deep love for music — especially British rock, from the '60s to '90s Britpop, that filled my childhood, always playing at home thanks to my parents. Music, films, long talks, and meaningful connections have always shaped who I am. I guess that's how photography became naturally my way to tie all these things together.

I work mostly outdoors, always chasing the sun, the wind, the raw air.

Curious, and driven by people, I love hearing stories, understanding what makes someone unique, and capturing it in the most honest way. My work is about emotion more than aesthetics. I like true images — quiet, loud, messy, tender. Life, as it is.

That’s also what I try to capture: honest, raw slices of life. The quiet ones and the loud ones. Friendship, love, solitude, movement, emotion. I’m hypersensitive and deeply committed to multiple causes — I live for personal projects, and for connecting with people, celebrating all kinds of humans, bodies and identities.

I’m in love with concerts, golden-hour light, the sound of waves, flowers and plants, dancing until I drop, small adventures and vast open skies. I love the smell of homemade cookies, hiding under heavy blankets, cuddles, singing my heart out in the car, vegan comfort food and all the little moments that make life tender and real.

nice to meet you.
